Overall, a great day, blessed with the dry weather but it was cold. Very well organised, great to meet such wonderful models and fellow photographers. A great feeling of collegiality and sharing ideas and equipment. A huge thank you to Taz and his team

Very well organised and the whole day flowed very well

Negative Experience
An understandable level of confusion at the start but quickly disappeared.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
I would like that models photographers get 3-5 days to confirm or refuse a booking. One model had me waiting over 4 weeks for a reply messed up my day

The walk from carpark in may have been lengthy but absolutely no fault of anyones

Forth Megashoot already, time flies!One of the smoothest for me so far, every model did great job, not a single one was missing for the first time, Gazebo was great idea! overall amazing!

Positive Experience
Somehow landed 9 shoots out of 8 in one day!

Negative Experience
Long waiting time till fifth edition.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
Maybe a bit of louder music at lunchtime? Lunch break party!

I had an amazing experience with MegaShoot.ie ! The team was professional, friendly, and made the entire session enjoyable from start to finish. They created a relaxed atmosphere, which helped me feel comfortable in front of the camera. The final photos were stunning, high-quality, and captured exactly what I was looking for. I was impressed by their attention to detail and quick turnaround time. I would highly recommend MegaShoot to anyone looking for beautiful, professional photographs.

Great planning by the team as usual. They were at the location early in the morning just to prepare everything and keep us updated on the situation.Lovely location, amazing team, great fun.

Positive Experience
This event had challenging weather at the start but the community came through and we had a great time.

Negative Experience
A few no shows as usual but most of the models communicated beforehand, and the weather played a huge factor.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
Meeting points at key locations bus stops, train stations could be used to arrange car pools together. A few models had trouble to arrive at the location because they walked all they way.At the moment we have a section for models to say what styles they are interested in. Maybe we cal do a similar section for photographers. Photographers can indicate on their portfolio how they handle the after shoot part. Rough timeline for editing time. Do models get unedited pictures, or only a selected list of edited pictures.

Overall it was an absolutely fantastic day out. I had a blast, the vibes were great, all my photographers were phenomenal and I'm so glad i came out. It was lovely getting to meet new people, and i cannot praise the organisers enough for all the work they put into these events.

Positive Experience
All my photographers were super-lovely, and we all had a great time. I loved that the organisers set up the site to e-mail all users about timing and which person they were shooting with next. The organisers were so lovely and it's so generous of them to provide refreshments and snacks for attendees.

Negative Experience
One thing I want to point out was that there were several male photographers who did not follow protocol snapping photos or filming me and other models without our consent while we were shooting with our allotted photographers. Neither I nor the photographer should have to stop what we're doing to tell an industry peer to behave like a professional.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
I understand that this may not be possible, but if there could be some sort of monitoring or signaling system to flag these types of photographers or models who take footage of others without consent. It should be marked on their profiles that they've displayed this kind of unprofessional behavior, as it is a violation, and I'd like to be able to avoid or even black-list them if it's persistent behaviour. Another item I'd suggest is a station for models and photographers who've had cancellations where they can try to match up with someone in their allotted free time. I wasn't impacted by No-Shows, but I'd imagine it would be a great relief to those who've been let down to still get to produce work on the day.

Well one fantastic day thank you so much to Taz and the amazing crew for all the hard work behind the scenes to make this happen.What a great day of fun and some great shooting. What an amazing crew the team that make Megashoot happen at all but with amazing friendly positive atmosphere.

Positive Experience
The whole event ran like a Swiss watch

Negative Experience
No I cannot thing of any thing negative, I cant imagine how anyone could find a fault. As it is so exceptionally well organised.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
Taz on your weather app could you lower the temperature by 2 degrees please -I cant think of any thing to improve on, it was a amazing day.A model did say that she would like a little more time in between shoots for changing and getting makeup done on time

Overall I would say the organisers worked hard and took all the efforts but few models were unethical and didnt turn up

Poor morale of models , I have booked 4 shoot in total but 2 of them didnt turn up and 1 model at the last minute told she dont want to shoot and if I need to shoot her I need to pay for the session model name Blonde

Another great Megashoot somewhat spoiled by the weather. Very well organised, but of course we had no control over the weather. A few models decided to call it a day when the weather got poor but well done to those who carried on.

Positive Experience
Well done to those who turned up and worked under very poor conditions.

Negative Experience
Due to late cancellations, many photographers left without models to shoot

Maybe a fee for all participants might encourage people to attend on the day

What a day! Fabulous day in Donadea and everything went so smooth and without any visible issues, at least to this photographer. All the models I had booked arrived and I had 7 shoots, all wonderful. Brilliant location and now 950 images to review.

Perfect weather, wonderful location and an excellent group of people

The day was not long enough!

Can you improve on the perfect? Maybe a mobile coffee stand.

I've attended previously one megashoot and I was impressed by the organisation and the positive vibes. The booking system was great. Models were great. Location was superb. I had an amazing time thanks to the organisers.

Positive Experience
For me personally everything was perfect. It's such a great way of meeting likeminded creatives.

It would be great that Megashoot would be on Sunday. As I work all Saturdays and it's hard to get a day off.

The event was amazing! It is great that you have this event where photographers and models can network and work together. Apart from the shoots, the overall vibe is always epic and I get to learn and be inspired by other talented individuals.

Positive Experience
This was my 3rd megashoot now, and with each shoot, it has just been going a step up. The scan to login etc was brilliant and made the whole management easier.

Negative Experience

Maybe have a dedicated area where all photographersmodels waiting are available for a shoot due to cancellationno shows

Fantastic event, I was only able to stay for the morning part I was supposed to have 3 shoots but there were 2 no shows but the organisers helped me out by asking one model who was free to do some shooting with me so I shot two models in total.

Positive Experience
The organisers made me feel very welcome and were very warm and helpful in helping me find a model to shoot.

Negative Experience
About the shoot itself and the organisation nothing negative.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
A designated area for models photographers who are free in between shoots so it is obvious who is free and ready to shoot. Location shoots so many possibilities

The team behind the MegaShoot went all out again to plan the event.Fantastic website, and booking system, usefull emails.Wonderull system that sends emails about upcoming shoots with information about the modelsphotographers.Great location for everyone to shoot and provide changing opportunities, as well as snacks. 1010

Positive Experience
Meeting photographers and just having a laugh while waiting for the next time slot. I had 5 empty slots on the day but didnt get bored because there were plenty of interesting people to talk to.Clear and precice communication arround anything and all related to the event.

Negative Experience
The only negative thing for these events are the no shows. Life happens and things change, we all understand that some cancellation can occur. However the no show rate for the last event was bad. I alone had 3 No Shows in a row. 3 Models that did not even bother to cancel beforehand, or send me a single message to let me know. This behaviour would destroy a professional reputation.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
Exclude people who do not show up models and photographers and enforce a participation deposit that is voided if someone does not show up.

Even with the poor weather, it was a great event and everyone that came down was still enthusiastic about the shoot. We all made it work and we even got a bit of sunshine mid afternoon. Lovely people to meet.

I would just like to say thank you so very much for all your hard work and what a wonderful event. I've been to three events now and each event impresses me so much.How well it is ran so very professional. Like a Swiss watch. Both models and photographers come back year on year. That is a testament to how well it is thought of and ran Taz and his team Should become professional event organizers. I cannot recommend highly enough how much fun the day are. Taz and the team Are incredible. I would just like to say thank you.

There is so many photographers and models on tik tok now too, anyone not on it yet, I would definitely sign up. It's after becoming very popular for everything and mostly where I post, which is why not many posts on my insta or Facebook.

Recalling my first time at Bull Island beach a few years ago, I can't forget how amazing it was. When I returned for the latest event, I was genuinely happy to see how much the Megashoot community has grown. It's nice to see more models and photographers getting involved. This event is just a lot of fun, with all these fantastic people working together to capture great photos and have a good time.

It was my first Megashoot and was overall a great experience. A great community has been set up and it was a pleasure to participate.

Positive Experience
So many, the location choice, the execution, the time an effort by the organisers, the weloming atmosphere.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
The website was a little tempermental for me I raise my hands it could in part be me. But I would get notification emails from the system and when I went on the site I couldn't see someones message or the change that the email stated. It also will not allow me to make changes to my profile, when I save it reverts to what it was previously. It is only a small thing because over all the experience was amazing.

A Glorious Day at the MegaShoot Forest Shoot 2024The MegaShoot event this year was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to Taz and his phenomenal team! Once again, they pulled off an incredible gathering that brought together a vibrant mix of talented photographers and stunning models, both familiar faces and fresh talent.The location was perfect a picturesque setting that provided endless opportunities for creativity. The weather couldn't have been better it was as if the sun itself was cheering us on, casting the ideal lighting for our shots. The scenery? Absolutely breathtaking! Every corner of the venue offered a unique backdrop, making it an ideal playground for our photographic adventures.It was exhilarating to see so many new faces on both sides of the lens. The energy was infectious as photographers and models mingled, collaborated, and created magic together. The camaraderie and mutual support were heartwarming, and it was clear that everyone was having a fantastic time.Taz and his team deserve a standing ovation for their impeccable organization and attention to detail. They ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on what we love doing best capturing and creating beautiful moments.Here's to another successful MegaShoot event and to many more in the future! Mega Shoot is an amazing day. Two people who come regularly, it's like a family. My thanks to the organisational team, they are amazing. It is so well run, it's quite incredible. I have met new people in my life who have become friends. True. Megashoes. It is amazing opportunity to meet and network with people of the same interest? It's also very interesting to watch other photographers work. And the way they handle the shoot. I would like to thank the guys again for organising. It came out of work they put in is quite incredible. People should really appreciate this. Between the websites. The organisation just blows my mind. Getting emails. When you're next shoots on, what are your models registered in or not? There's nothing more you can ask her. I think they even have a deal with the weather gods of Ireland.

Positive Experience
Everything is so amazing. Well ran and well organised. I think it's an absolute credit to the to the organisation team. I don't think any other event is run as well in Ireland.

Negative Experience
People who register and don't turn up. It takes 2 seconds to send a text to someone. The Mega Shoe team put in hundreds of hours. To make it happen.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
I'm not sure you can it is so well ran May be charged a registration fee. That would help with ongoing costs. Maybe buy dinner for the Organisation team and their helpers and Partners. in a very nice restaurant. Thanks Very much guys, For yet another amazing day and a little bit of sunburn

Another very well organised group shoot in a great location. These events don't happen by themselves so huge gratitude to the Megashoot team for the effort they put in to make it work.

Positive Experience
I forgot to buy batteries for my trigger and low and belold batteries were available. Thanks Martin for saving my blushes!

Negative Experience
As others have already said.... Models cancelling bookings late or pulling out of the entire event without any communication feels very disrespectful. There may be genuine reasons for cancelling but I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a short message or apology. In contrast, a very small number of models who cancelled did contact me and we have already arranged to shoot together soon, but the majority said nothing.

The event was so well run there is nothing I would want change.

My first Megashoot experience and it was brilliant.The professional organisation, stunning location and cooperative weather created a welcoming and safe environment for a brilliant day of photography. I worked with 4 models who were both creative and supportive and had prepared for the shoots as we had been in contact over Instagram prior to the event. The breaks in between sessions gave me the opportunity to chat and network with other photographers and models and get a much needed breather.

Positive Experience
The whole experience was so positive and I loved the opportunity to watch the other photographers in action when I wasnt booked. Great networking opportunity.

Negative Experience
Nothing at all - got my steps in with the walk from car park and toilet

I really enjoyed this one, not even 1 complaint , no injuries , no issues , people have settled well into the format and shoots and generally done with enough time to return to base and change for the next shoot, so pretty much everything went well and as planned and then we had the good weather once again so win win !

The mobile signal was terrible for everyone here unfortunately

2nd MegaShoot event that I attended.Fantastic location with a large area that was able to accomodate all photographers and models.The level of professionalism and commitement from both sides was greatFantastic atmosphere during the shot sessions and also afterwards.I think people that are both experienced and new to photographymodeling had a great time.

Good website section for booking peopleDrink and food section to keep energy levels high.Emails that show the picture of whom we are shooting with.

Another Great Megashoot. Well Organised. Looking forward to the next one.

Positive Experience
Despite the weather all in attendance were in good spirits and everyone seemed to get something from the day out at the beach.

Negative Experience
NO SHOWS !! Last Minute Refusal of Shoots in the days Hours leading up to the event, and as can be seen most had no intention of turning up on the day.

Suggestions of what or how to improve
The NO Shows and Last Minute cancellation of bookings is a little frustrating to say the least. Perhaps a little monetary deposit or a small fee for taking part might force people to think twice before making themselves available for events.
